Gas Mains Replacement Works - Resident Waste Collection

Cadent gas and mains replacement work on Portobello Road continues to run to schedule. They are currently in the second of three phases. Each phase takes approximately 4 weeks.

During phase two the full 4-way junction of Portobello Road and Lancaster Road is closed to road traffic, but remains open for pedestrian access.

These works can make it difficult for waste collection to be done easily and effectively. Cadent are therefore asking residents to leave their household waste for collection at major junctions of Portobello Road. This will ensure that all waste can be collected easily and that no waste will be missed.

Cadent are working with Kensington and Chelsea Council, Transport for London (TfL) and Portobello Road Street Trading Office to minimise the impact of their work.
