This teacher pack has been designed to inspire classroom activities that engage students with the wonderful world of Portobello and Golborne market. All activities provided have curriculum subjects as their main topic focus.

Activities are designed to be easily followed and for you to tailor and adapt them to your individual classroom needs. While some activities will suit particular ages and abilities more than others, all can be adjusted for most EYFS, KS1 and KS2 requirements.

Each curriculum subject comes with interactive worksheets for children to use. We have also provided ideas for how to explore the subjects further in preparation for and during in-person visits to the market, to get the most from the experience.
