Visit Portobello Easter Egg Hunt Instructions

From Monday 29 March – Monday 5 April we will be sharing Easter Egg posts tagged with #VisitPortobelloEaster2021 on our Instagram story.

We are on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and Tik Tok so remember to tag @visitportobello #VisitPortobelloEaster2021 and we will share throughout the week .

If you are a Portobello and Golborne shop, market stall or organisation to take part please following these instructions:

All participants:

Throughout the week tag #VisitPortobelloEaster2021 and @VisitPortobello in posts on your feed or stories so that your audience and customers know that you are taking part.

If you have a shop:

Hide images of an Easter Egg, decorative Easter Eggs or a Chocolate Easter eggs in your shop window display so that it can be found by passers-by.
In your social media posts encourage your audience and customers to take a picture when they see an Easter Egg in the window, they should then post the picture on their Instagram as a post or story and tag @visitportobello #VisitPortobelloEaster2021.

If you are a Market Trader:

Please do not share an egg on your market stall, but instead share on your social media.
You can hide an Easter Egg image/icon/illustration in social media posts throughout the week on your feed or in your stories.
In your social media posts encourage your audience and customers to repost on their Instagram story or post and tag @visitportobello #VisitPortobelloEaster2021 every time they see an Egg.

If you are an Organisation:

You can hide an Easter Egg image/icon/illustration in social media posts throughout the week on your feed or in your stories.
In your social media posts encourage your audience to repost on their Instagram story or post and tag @visitportobello #VisitPortobelloEaster2021 every time they see an Egg.

Prizes:

If you are offering prizes to your customers please announce this on your social media indicating what the prizes are and how they will receive them. Winners can also be announced in social posts.
